tassles and silly string
Today is Australia Day!! Can we say a tonne of fascinating yet scary (because they come so close) fireworks? and not to mention the barbies? Heh.
So my last day in Singapore was spent with Van and Stefan in town and I did some actual shopping for myself. Strange but true! most of the days were just me hanging around eating and catching up and talking which was good but shopping! For a while I forgot the wonders of retail therapy. Jem, Jo and Alph met up for dinner with us (minus Stefan, he went CNY shopping with his pop). Julia joined us later and she bought me coffee at coffee bean. Another place I'd been to so often esepcially with vette on that trip.
Anywho! I thought I should update you on a couple of things.
- Julius has promised us (Yvette and I) 20 000 USD if we go on our Eurotrip which we have every intention on doing in about 4 years.
- I'm trying to get a job. Like pronto. NOW
- I cut my hair again, it looks a tad better, make that a lot better since I'm back in Perth. Thank God for less humidity.
- Yes, yes, my brother does have a girlfriend.
- My parents are still being a bitch about me going to ND. They insist on me going to Curtin just cos I got in. I will not lose this fight. Compromise isn't my middle name when it comes to my own future.
- I left a couple of things in the shipment for Heave, Em and Sarah so they're gonna have to wait 2 months.
- I lost my rubber phone and it had my aussie sim card in it so I tried getting a new one today but they can't do anything about it till Friday since tomorrow is a public holiday. So I'll get it next week. I'm keeping the same number though.
- about 5 hrs to go of L plate driving to get my Ps. My 5 week visit to Singapore has made me forget how to park.
- Oh and I think randall tan is in perth, either that or I found his twin. I saw him as customs. He had stuff to declare. He looks much better in person than in Spandex (at least the randall tan lookalike did), plus he changed his hair. He was hot. I would've stalked him but my mom declaring food was holding me back. Plus it would've been freaky.
A photo post should be coming up soon. I had enchiladas for dinner tonight and then avacado followed by good ass icecream. I just keep agitating my already annoying cough.
p.s sigur ros is awesome but working the crowd is going to be kinda hard.
